Seeing reality, finding the beauty and concern of life in those very brief daily moments, looking for glimmers of light in the shadows, is the engine of my research.
I am an Italian painter, born and raised in Savona and currently living in Milan where I study at the Brera Academy of Fine Arts. My paintings and drawings tell of small fractions of life in which the experience of each of us emerges, between joys and pains. In my works, black absorbs everything and builds the forms, white prevents us from falling into oblivion, in a constant struggle between the search for lightness and the weight of existing.
Each representation therefore becomes a portrait of the observer, digging into the intimacy of the looks and the harmony of the gestures.
None of us are alone in our battles, even when it doesn't seem like it.

Vedere la realtà, ritrovare in quei brevissimi attimi quotidiani la bellezza e la preoccupazione della vita, cercare nell’ombra gli spiragli di luce, è il motore della mia ricerca. 
Sono un pittore italiano, nato e cresciuto a Savona e attualmente vivo a Milano dove studio all’Accademia di Belle Arti di Brera. I miei dipinti e disegni raccontano piccole frazioni di vita in cui emerge l’esperienza di ognuno di noi, tra gioie e dolori. Nei miei lavori il  nero assorbe tutto e costruisce le forme, il bianco impedisce di cadere nell’oblio, in una costante lotta tra ricerca della leggerezza e peso di esistere. 
Ogni rappresentazione diventa dunque ritratto di chi la osserva, scavando nell’intimità degli sguardi e l’armonia dei gesti.
Nessuno di noi è solo nelle proprie battaglie, anche quando non sembra.
